Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how LLP "JASAIM (ЖАСАЙМ)" may collect, use, store, and protect data of users of the Jas Wallet mobile application.

1. General Provisions

This Policy applies to the Jas Wallet mobile application, related authentication, support, security, account deletion, and other user journeys directly connected with the use of the app.

By using Jas Wallet, the user confirms that they have read this Policy and understand that certain categories of data may be processed in order to provide app functionality, protect the account, and comply with applicable law.

2. Categories of Data We May Process

  • Account and profile data, including name, username, email, and other information provided by the user;
  • Data related to identity confirmation, verification, and associated user scenarios where such functionality is available;
  • Security and authentication data, including technical sign-in data, session parameters, PIN settings, and biometric protection settings on the device;
  • Media files and images uploaded by the user, including profile photos and materials selected through the camera or gallery;
  • Technical device and usage data necessary for stability, compatibility, and service protection;
  • Data related to QR code scanning, phone-based digital access, and relevant integrations where such functionality is used by the user.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Creating and maintaining the user account;
  • Providing app functionality and related Jas Wallet services;
  • Ensuring security, authentication, and abuse prevention;
  • Supporting PIN, biometrics, and secure sign-in functionality;
  • Handling user requests and communicating with support;
  • Diagnosing issues, improving stability, and enhancing app quality;
  • Complying with legal obligations and internal service requirements.

4. Device Permissions

Jas Wallet may request only those device permissions that are necessary for specific app functions.

  • Camera for scanning QR codes and selected user scenarios within the app;
  • Photos and Media for choosing user images and files;
  • Bluetooth for digital access scenarios and use of the phone instead of a physical card where supported;
  • Biometric Authentication for faster and more secure sign-in;
  • Microphone only where required for a specific built-in function or embedded web scenario;
  • Additional System Permissions only to the extent needed for proper operation of relevant app modules.

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

JASAIM may share data with a limited group of contractors, technology partners, and infrastructure service providers only to the extent necessary for app operation, verification-related functions, security, fulfillment of obligations to the user, or compliance with law.

Where external services are used for specific scenarios, such services process data within the scope of their role and on the basis of the applicable legal grounds.

When an account is deleted, JASAIM deletes data from its own systems and, where applicable, initiates relevant actions with processors and service providers acting on behalf of JASAIM.

6. Storage and Protection of Data

JASAIM implements reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Retention periods depend on the nature of the data, the purpose of processing, and applicable legal requirements.

Some security-related data may be stored locally on the user’s device where this is necessary for PIN, biometric authentication, and user session functionality.

7. User Rights

  • Request clarification about their data;
  • Request updates, corrections, or data rectification;
  • Request account deletion and deletion of related data where legally permitted;
  • Contact support regarding personal data processing.
If the user has access to the app, account deletion is available within Jas Wallet. If access to the app is lost, the user may use the Delete Account page.

8. Policy Updates

JASAIM may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves, integrations change, app store requirements are updated, or applicable law requires it. The current version of this document is always published on this page.
